To be admitted into the Graduate Diploma in Church Music program at Washington Jabez University, Applicants must meet the following spiritual and academic standards to be considered for admission.
Spiritual Qualifications
- Personal experience of regeneration and water baptism.
- Confirmed sense of calling to Christian ministry and music.
- Active involvement in a local church or Christian community.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
Application Materials
- Application form & fee.
- Official Transcripts & Diploma.
- Personal Essay detailing spiritual journey and ministry vision.
- Reference Letters (at least two).
- One recent digital photograph.
- One (1) copy of passport and driver's license (for U.S. residents).
- One (1) copy of passport and resident registration certificate (for Residents Outside the United States).
- Personal Interview and/or Audition/Portfolio (Depending on the major concentration).
Graduation Requirements
To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in Church Music degree, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Credit Hours: Completion of 21 semester units.
- GPA Requirement: Maintenance of a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Residency: Transfer credits must be negotiated and approved by the institution.
- Graduation Recital / Project: Candidates must successfully complete a Graduation Project Presentation or a Graduation Recital according to their major concentration.
- Clearance: All financial obligations must be cleared, and the graduation fee paid.
